The Green Jack Film Festival is bringing a fun and exciting filmmaker and fan event to Big Bear Lake California this September. Held at The Performing Arts Center in Big Bear Lake, a modern and beautiful state-of-the-art event space located in the heart of SoCal's best resort town.
We are attracting filmmakers and fans alike to network, view the hottest and most adventurous independent films for the year 2022, and present their competitive films of the highest quality. Three days of excitement culminate on Sunday night for the awards ceremony presenting the selected filmmakers with a moment to cherish for a lifetime.

Best Feature Film
The top award is the Best Film prize, which recognizes a film as the best from the independent film community this year which includes our beautifully crafted physical award and prize money of $1,000.
Best Short Film
The Best Short Film award recognizes a short as the best in class from our beloved filmmaking community which includes our beautifully crafted physical award and prize money of $500.
Best Animated Film
The Best Animated Film from around the world is presented with our beautifully crafted physical award as well as $500 in prize money.
Best Documentary
The Best Documentary Film from around the world is presented with our beautifully crafted physical award as well as $500 in prize money.
